Leaves are not just about the end of a season but in a manner embody what we hope our lives to be. In the spring we watch them awaken from their brief slumber with promise of renewal. Then they provide revitalizing and cooling summer shade. As fall ushers in the time of rest, the light show to which we are privy announces end of a good run viewed with awe and, hopefully, some applause.
In every change, in every falling leaf there is some pain, some beauty. And that's the way new leaves grow.”
