The wall • art was born from a creative block with my jewelry, Each piece is at least 75% recycled or up-cycled material. The original block canvases came from my basement. The paint is 20-year-old chalk pastels I couldn't bear to part with mixed with water soluble varathane. The wood is 'gessoed' with leftover latex paint.  All the copper under the enamel is recycled from my favorite metal yard, gifted second hand copper or my castoff jewelry seconds.

I am always inspired by color and form. This art is no exception and represents my fanciful interpretation of the botanical world, sea life, insects, hearts, and hopefully much more.
